We see it happen, but uncomfortably look away. We feel the urge to speak up, but stay cautiously silent. We all want to do something about it, but don’t know what. Or worse, we end up thinking it’s "not a big deal."

Street harassment is always a big deal. And now, we have what it takes to put self worth first.

Introducing Stand Up, a global training program designed to help prevent street harassment and build safe, inclusive spaces for all, powered by L'Oréal Paris in partnership with Hollaback, now named Right to Be.

Write a tonality for the training that is gentle but empowering but gentle. Write manifestos. Build decks. Present said decks to the L’Oréal global CMO. Map out wireframes. Validate said wireframes. Prepare for a 4 day shoot. Shoot. Overcome all obstacles that are a scandalous tragicomedy but you can’t talk about it in your portfolio ‘cause you’re a professional. Keep going. Get final files from shoot. Make selects. Validate selects. Build full training flow and website with all—now—available assets. Validate with client.

That’s me, on shoot day, on the floor of a moving bus I was told I can’t get on because there is no seating available, listening to the actor’s lines to make sure they read them right, since I was the only native English speaker on set. A moment of doing what you gotta do.
